If yes then why not use your talents, skills and join our team of dedicated, committed volunteers who help make a positive difference to the lives of older people in the Blackpool area. Full training, support and expenses are provided.

We have many volunteer opportunities available...

Day Centre Volunteer	Help older people in one of our five Day Centres by befriending them, serving drinks and meals, and helping with activities and trips.
Insurance Arranger	Help customers to make informed decisions about Age UK products and services.
Shop Assistant	Help to run one of our three charity shops by sorting and pricing stock and serving customers.

Reception and Administration	Be the first point of contact for people phoning our head office. Help with basic administrative tasks.

Information and Advice Volunteer	Based in our centre, you will provide information and advice to older people and their carers by phone and in person.
Assisted Shopper	We are looking for people who will assist clients during a two hour shopping trip
Hospital Aftercare Volunteer	Visit vulnerable people recently discharged from hospital. Provide emotional support and general domestic help.
