Day Centres

All our day centres offer spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to 30 clients and are open to anyone over the age of 55. The cost is £11.00 per session; this includes refreshments and lunch. A typical day begins at 10:30am. On arrival clients are served hot buttered toast and tea or coffee. A three course lunch is served at 12:30pm. Tea and coffee with biscuits are served at 3:00pm before the session ends.

The day centres provide support, stimulation and opportunities for friendship and fun. Clients are free to participate in the many activities available which include crafts, reading, listening to music, board games, sing-along entertainment, presentations and sit-down exercises to music. Day trips are also organised throughout the year.

We have 5 day centres

• Tuesday: Kilmory Community Centre, Bispham, and Aysgarth Community Centre, South Shore
• Wednesday: Tarnside Community Centre, Mereside
• Thursday: Kincraig Community Centre, Bispham
• Friday: Aysgarth Community Centre, South Shore

Transport

Age Concern Blackpool can provide a limited number of places on our minibus. A return journey will cost £4.00.
